That's what feeds you. It's what keeps the lights on and pays the rent. You can
Have a superb product, fantastic shopper service, an upline that picks up their
phonephone and responds to your needs, etc, BUT without effective selling in place

All that other stuff?

One of the strangest phenomenons that I witness is some of the very first actions
That home enterprise owners take when they "get into business".

You know the list,you've seen it ( and perhaps you've even done a few of these

one. They buy hundreds or maybe thousands of business cards.

2. They purchase a ton of product inventory.

three. Do not forget the inspirational tools, product handouts, audios, promoting cd's
And all of the other "must have " items to grow a business.

There's a ton of other items too, but this is a good starting point.

What's the only thing that should be top of mind and FIRST concern for a new
( or maybe seasoned ) home based business owner?

How about the way to use marketing pieces and how to deliver messages which will
Bring prospects to you like a commercial grade, five ton magnet?

Yes, the most significant TOOL a home based enterprise owner can ever learn to
Use is HOW TO BE A BETTER MARKETER.

When folks think about being an entrepreneur most do not think about becoming
A marketer - that's what YOU ARE.

And, it's not such a bad thing. Be happy with it.

As a marketer, you learn the art and science of having prospects approach you

And not the other way around - this is the key to growing a giant organization.

Marketers move products and sell a lot of them. If you don't, you do not get
Paid. Your folks doesn't eat. And all of those dreams you had about the
Fancy house, and the sports auto remain, well, just a dream.

One ( of many that I should discuss in the future writings ) important piece of mastering that
Piece of the puzzle is to grasp, implement and master the talent of...

POSITIONING.

Positioning yourself in all facets of your marketing. Whether you are dropping post
Cards, handing out business cards, setting up information capture pages ( capture pages ),
for example. - this is one idea that becoming actually profecient at isn't optional.

This is how massive affiliations are built. This is how huge firms get massive and
Stay giant. This is how leaders get up on stage each week and watch their downline
Grow by a large amount of reps - in around an hour or two.

This is how you're going to grow a huge downline too.

Rules to live by :

one. Always lead with the product ( there is always a better paying opportunity out

That, my pal, is effective positioning.

irrespective of what you are promoting, how great your products, how long
Your company has been around and whether they are private or public,
Having others approaching you is how you build a huge organization.
